Will Fairfax County Trim School Buses?

Virginia Safe Routes to School 
Fairfax County has done very little to encourage kids to walk and bike to school. Unfortunately many parents, and school principals, think it is too dangerous to let kids walk and bike to school, even if routes are safe. The school system needs to start by learning more about Safe Routes to School and how parents can help make the trip to school safer and more healthy for their children. Encouragement has to come from the top, starting with the school board.
